Description

Husqvarna X-TOUGH™ Solid Guide Bar .404" .063" Hard Nose | Large Bar Mount (D009)

The Husqvarna X-TOUGH™ Solid Hard Nose Guide Bar is purpose-built for the toughest professional forestry and commercial logging applications. Available in 28-inch and 36-inch lengths, this premium guide bar features a .404" pitch, 1.6 mm (.063") gauge and Large Bar Mount (D009 / HLM). Manufactured from a single piece of solid steel with a Hard Nose (HN) design, the X-TOUGH™ guide bar is engineered for exceptional durability and reliability in the harshest operating conditions.

Unlike sprocket nose guide bars, the Hard Nose design has no moving parts, making it ideal for abrasive environments such as hardwood, dirty timber, fire-damaged forests and sandy conditions. The solid steel body features hardened rails for superior resistance to wear, bending and impact, while the cobalt chromium alloy nose with a chamfered groove is designed to withstand extreme professional use. Optimised oil holes improve chain lubrication, and the protective coating helps resist scratches and corrosion for maximum service life.

Why Choose a Hard Nose Guide Bar?

A Hard Nose guide bar is built for maximum durability rather than maximum chain speed. With no sprocket or bearings in the nose, there are no moving parts to wear out, making it the preferred choice for cutting in abrasive conditions where dirt, sand, ash and thick bark can quickly damage a conventional sprocket nose guide bar. For professional logging and heavy-duty forestry work, a hard nose bar offers exceptional longevity and dependable performance in the toughest environments.
