Description

Hotter days and warmer nights demand a riding essential like the REV’IT! Eclipse 2. A lightweight motorcycling jacket that cools you down in the summer plus plenty of practical touches for your daily trips around town, like the zipped pockets, a wind catcher behind the front zipper, and a jeans loop.

Breathable mesh panels at the front, the back, and the inner arms send a current of air around your entire body. An abrasion-resistant 600-denier polyester construction adds a sense of secure comfort, plus you can customise the fit with tabs at the waist, cuffs, and bicep. SEESMART™ CE-Level 1 armour protects you at the elbows and shoulders, and you can choose to level up even higher by adding the SEESOFT™ CE-Level 2 back protector to offer inconspicuous yet highly effective impact resistance. So, when you’re whizzing about town you can feel pumped about protection, not weighed down by it.

  • 600D polyester and mesh outer shell
  • Full mesh panels front and back for excellent ventilation
  • SEESMART™ CE level-1 protectors in shoulders and elbows
  • Prepared for SEESOFT™ CE level -2 back protector (Type RV)
  • Waist adjustment straps
  • Double jean loops

The jacket is well made and ideal for the job. The fit is nice and airy with a good feel to it, but it does feel maybe a bit too light which gives you a sense of less protection. Especially if you are used to riding in heavier clothing like leathers.
Overall I really liked it, but it took a while to get used to. I will be giving it a proper going over in November when I tour the Philippines for a month.
That will be the ultimate cooling test, rather than the not so hot New Zealand where I presently live.
