Automatic Dual Clutch Transmission

Forget drive belts.

The TRX420FA2 uses Honda's proven 5-speed automatic Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) with reverse.

Unlike a conventional belt-driven automatic ATV, Honda's DCT uses durable mechanical gears. This combines the convenience of an automatic with the strength and direct drive of a traditional geared transmission.

The system also provides excellent engine braking – particularly useful when working across steep and challenging terrain.

Automatic or Manual Shifting

Want the convenience of an automatic but still like having control over the gears?

You've got both.

The TRX420FA2 can shift automatically, or you can manually select gears using the handlebar-mounted controls.

An override function also allows you to manually change gear while operating in automatic mode, giving you extra control exactly when you need it.

Easy Electronic Reverse

Honda has made getting into reverse simple.

A fully electronic reverse system allows you to quickly select reverse using a convenient handlebar control.

It's especially useful when you're regularly manoeuvring around yards, sheds, gateways or other tight areas around the farm.

Selectable 2WD & 4WD

Honda's TraxLok system allows you to select between 2WD and 4WD depending on the conditions.

Use 2WD when conditions are good, then engage 4WD when you need additional traction across hills, mud or slippery paddocks.

Electronic Power Steering
